Tilling is a means of cultivating soil, or getting it ready for planting, as soil is often compacted, weedly or rocky, which are not conducive conditions for growing plants.  Whether it is a small vegetable patch, a formal rose garden or a green lawn, a propane tiller is excellent for maneuvering in tight places and around delicate plants.  It is extremely lightweight and nimble and much quieter than liquid fuel types. 

With LPG/Propane tillers, there are no fumes, spills or mixing in oil as compared to other liquid fuel types.
